Payment must be made when placing your order.
Payment terms for account customers
Payment terms are 30 days from the date of invoice for account customers. For more information about opening an account, please email creditcontrol@swimming.org.
Orders totalling less than £100 must be paid on placement of order no credit is given for orders below £100.
As from January 2023 an Admin charge of £4.95 will be applied to orders placed using telephone or email methods.
Credit/debit cards
We accept most major credit and debit cards.
Cheque/postal order
When paying by personal cheque or postal order, it must be denominated in Pounds Sterling and must be drawn from a UK bank account.
If you are in the UK, paying by personal cheque typically delays your order by about 7 to 10 days as your order will not be processed until your cheque has been received and the funds have cleared.
Please make cheques payable to ‘Swim England Trading Limited’ for all orders.
Returns and Refunds
To ensure that you receive your goods in perfect condition, all goods are carefully checked and packed before despatch. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, contact the Awards Distribution Centre within 14 days of receipt of your order to obtain your returns reference number. Goods must be received by Swim England within a further 30 days.
Goods can only be refunded if they are unused and in good saleable condition. We will exchange the goods, credit your account or refund your purchase in full. Items not returned to us in “as new condition” will not be refunded and any costs to return the items to you will have to be paid before we can return them.
This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
Unwanted Items
Unwanted items must be returned within 14 days of order. Full refunds, minus the carriage charge, will be issued if the goods are of a re-saleable condition. Where possible goods should be returned in their original packaging, or packaged to ensure the safe transit and re-sale of the items.
If goods returned are not of a re-saleable quality, they will not be refunded.

Missing Items
Regrettably, mistakes can happen. If you have received your order and an item is missing, please contact Swim England quoting your order number (found in your order confirmation email) and the missing item, and we will investigate the matter further.
Missing Items should be reported within 14 days of order.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If the item you received is faulty or is not what you originally ordered, please contact Swim England quoting your order number and details of the product. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return.

Exchanges

Return Postage
Please note that delivery charges are non-refundable in the event of an unwanted item or an item exchanged for another item being returned to us, unless you have received a faulty or incorrect item from us.
If goods are returned, please ensure packaging is suitable and secure and that the goods are accompanied by a copy of the invoice the goods relate to. If any goods are damaged in transit you will need to pursue a claim with the courier or mail service used.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost. We advise that you return goods via courier or insured method as we do not accept liability until the goods are received by us.

Pricing
At the time of printing this, all our awards (comprising of a badge and a certificate) cost £2.10 ex vat. Swim England reserves the right, without prior notification, to amend prices as market forces dictate. Postage and packagin rates also apply - this is dependant on value of order.
Cancellation Policy
Orders may be cancelled up to 24 hours after order placed. If goods are received and are unwanted they may be returned under the unwanted returns policy. Only goods received in a resalable condition will be fully refunded.
If orders have not yet been processed through the system, they will be cancelled and no goods shipped.
Security
None of our customers has reported fraudulent use of a credit or debit card as a result of purchases made with us. We are so confident about the transaction security we offer on our site that we back every purchase with a security guarantee.
Our secure website encrypts your potentially sensitive personal information (including credit or debit card number, name and address) to and from the website.
In the event of unauthorised use of your credit or debit card, most banks and card issuers either cover all the charges or may limit your liability to just £50.00. If your bank or card issuer holds you liable, Swim England will cover your liability up to £50.00 provided that the unauthorised use of your credit or debit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at Swim England Awards while using the secure server.
Please note:
- This guarantee covers a maximum liability of £50.00
- In the event of unauthorised use of your credit or debit card, you must notify your card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures
- Your credit card number is not stored on our server or database, so even in the unlikely event that our security was ever breached your credit card number would not be compromised.
- We do not currently sell or rent our list of customers.
Reselling Swim England Awards
Swim England Awards (certificates and badges) cannot be re-sold via any digital or online platform (eg. A company website; a re-seller platform such as eBay or Amazon; etc) without the explicit permission of Swim England. To request permission, please email salesawards@swimming.org.
