The Swim England Be a Better Swimmer Award is third award that learners can achieve in the Adult Swimming Framework.
To achieve this award, learners will have the necessary skills to swim up to 400 metres independently, as well as the confidence to try other activities taking place in the pool including Aquacise or lane swimming.
The classes at this Stage aim to prepare learners for other pool activities and build their stamina so they can have a go at their first swimming challenge event.
Whilst working through the Be a Better Swimmer Award, learners may achieve the Adult Distance 50m, Adult Distance 100m and Adult Distance 200m Awards.
