It is essential that learners are prepared on how to stay safe in, on and around the water.

These Water Safety Question Cards can help build learners’ understanding of water safety and what to do if they find themselves in danger.

The cards consist of 30 questions and answers; the question is on one side and the answer is on the other.

The questions align with the Water Safety Awards. They also introduce the most common British beach flags and the water safety code, which is important to remember wherever you go swimming.

This is a great tool to introduce learners to water safety all the way up to those exiting the Learn to Swim Framework in Stage 7. The questions can be adapted to fit the specific policies or the running of your facility, e.g. the uniform colours the lifeguard wears. 

The A6 cards are assembled with a detachable ring. The material is splash-proof (not 100% water proof) and designed to be used on poolside during lessons.
