The Swim England Rainbow Distance 600m Award can be achieved when a learner is working through the Aquatic Skills Framework.
To achieve this award, learners must be able to swim 600 metres using a recognisable stroke, without pausing and without stress. Floatation aids cannot be used to achieve this award.
Learners can achieve this award whilst they achieve the Learn to Swim Stage 9 Swimming Award and the Swimming Challenge Silver Award, and whilst they work towards the Rainbow Distance 800m Award.
