The Swim England Water Skills 5 Award can be achieved by a learner who is working through the Learn to Swim Framework.
To achieve this award, learners should be able to perform 8 of the 10 required skills (or six for those with a SEND), without the use of floatation equipment. These skills include swimming 50 metres in 90 seconds and being able to swim 25 metres propelling a ball and maintaining close control throughout.
